The personnel in this band have played together on and off, and in various incarnations, for almost 20 years. Their individual musical experiences span a combined total of more than 150 years.
The tight three and four part harmonies are a refreshing change and the ability to play quiet background dinner music (if required) makes sure that eardrums are still intact by the end of the night.
With influences ranging from Benny Goodman's Big Band sound to the latest 90's hits, this band has an outstandingly wide repertoire that caters for any function. The variety of instruments, both acoustic and electric, provides a much wider dynamic music range that that available from a standard guitar band.
The Ladzabak have played many functions, including Balls, cabarets, pubs and concerts. Internationally, they played the Manza Expatriate Ball in Kuala Lumpur in 1994, 1995 and 1996.
The 45 minute floor show is funny, clever and showcases the talent of Paul Sorrell.
Although the members of this combo play gigs with other bands, their strong musical links which go back together almost 20 years, enables them to put a seamless show together at virtually no notice.
