John Maclaine and Jim Marshall are full time musicians, and their band, the Barflies, performs regularly at the two Tasmanian Casinos as well as a wide variety of other pubs and club dates. They are often engaged to play on mainland Australia and also play as members of the "Ladzabak" Band.

Jim is well known in Tasmania for his proficient blues and rock guitar styles and has played with many Tasmanian musicians including Allan, Steve and Rod, in one band or another.John McLaine - piano, vocals
John is a session pianist who plays in a variety of styles from rocker Jerry Lee Louis to mean blues-piano in a style remiscent of blues piano greats Dr John and Professor Longhair. Together with a modern synth keyboard, he can also reproduce all the sounds of today's music.
